- about how God motivated ordinary people can and have made that FUTURE A POSSIBILITY
- The village had no clean water, poor sanitation and no electricity.
- About 250 adults, many HIV/AIDS positive and the same number of children with various health problems due to malnourishment and lack of medical aid. With more than half the children orphaned by AIDS.
- Poor access by road because of erosion of the track due to heavy rainfall over previous years that washed away topsoil and left fields and road corroded with no attempt or motivation to put this right.
- Poor harvest , means hunger for the children.
- A total lack of community spirit or corporate motivation anywhere. All that could be seen was a resignation of the inevitable death that would come to all sooner or later.
